Data controller

The controller for the processing of personal data is Hostynet, a sole proprietorship operated by Alexandre Boukeras Hadj Chaib (SIREN 900 207 150), whose registered office is at 2 rue Guillaume Apollinaire, Canto-Perdrix Licorne 1, 13500 Martigues, France, publisher of the warpplaza site. Data collected

• Via Discord (at login): Discord ID, username, display name, avatar, and email address if you allow it.
• Your contributions : posts, drawings, images, comments, reactions, polls.
• Profile : avatar, banner, bio, Switch friend code, "now playing" status, follows and badges, if you fill in these elements.
• Technical session : a cookie that keeps you logged in.
• Technical operating data : last login date and moderation logs (reports, sanctions) needed for the security of the service.
• Email account : if you create an account by email or add one, your email address is collected (with email confirmation).
• Date of birth : requested at registration to verify the minimum age (13). It is used solely for this check.
• Automatic image moderation : published images (posts, avatars, banners) are analyzed automatically, in-house on our infrastructure, to detect inappropriate content. No image is sent to a third-party service.
• Audience measurement : for statistical and security purposes, we record the pages viewed, the IP address, the country inferred from the IP, the browser type, the operating system and the referring site. This data is only used internally.

We do not collect any payment data or third-party advertising trackers.

Purposes and legal basis

This data is used solely to run the community service: to create and display your profile, post and distribute your contributions, keep you logged in, and ensure moderation and the security of the site. The legal basis for processing is the performance of the service you sign up to by creating an account, as well as our legitimate interest in maintaining a safe space (moderation, abuse prevention). Your data is neither sold nor passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.

Retention period

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile and your contributions are deleted. Certain strictly necessary data (for example moderation logs linked to a sanction or a report) may be kept for a limited time for security reasons or to meet a legal obligation, then deleted. Audience measurement data (including the IP address) is kept for 90 days maximum, then automatically deleted.

Hosting

The data is stored on Hostynet's infrastructure, located in France (European Union). No data is transferred outside the European Union.

Cookies

warpplaza only uses a technical session cookie, essential to keep you logged in. No advertising tracking cookie or third-party tracking tool is used.

Protection of minors

Registration is reserved for people aged at least 13 (the date of birth is requested and accounts under 13 are rejected). We pay particular attention to protecting younger users: automatic filtering of contact details and solicitations in private messages, automatic image analysis, and holding potentially sensitive content for moderation review before publication. If you are the parent or legal guardian of a minor and wish to exercise their rights, you can contact us at contact@hostynet.fr.

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your data, the right to object and the right to restrict processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly from your profile and the deletion option below, or by writing to contact@hostynet.fr. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
